Kissing bugs are insects that can carry a parasite called Chagas disease, which if untreated, can cause heart problems and other serious medical conditions.

There are many types of bugs that bite, and while not all bites require medical attention, if you find a bug in your house it may be one of these.

You’ll know you’ve been bitten by a brown recluse if you see several puncture marks on your skin.

  • It is advisable to apply a cream to the affected areas.

  • Benadryl is one of the oral antihistamines.

When you feel you have been bitten at home, you should also get rid of the bedbugs. 

There is no limit to the number of days that bedbugs can live between feedings. The best way to get rid of bedbugs is to hire a professional exterminator. 

To prevent bedbugs from living in crevices, remove papers from the bedroom and cover any crevices.

You should see a doctor if you suspect you have an insect bite. It can be redness, streaking, or extreme swelling.
